Bleeker Workshop

Bleeker was published this year in the Malabrigo Book 11 Anniversario book and Spin A Yarn stock the book and the yarn so we thought it'd be fun to do a workshop on Bleeker.

We've scheduled the workshop for 13 June. In the morning we'll work on a mini version of Bleeker which covers all the techniques including how to achieve the asymmetrical shape, how to get neat colour changes for the garter stripes, how to read a lace chart, how to knit the lace pattern and how to block Bleeker. You will get the pattern as part of the workshop.

Sounds like fun? I'll bring the materials for the morning but you'll need two skeins of sock yarn (185m per 100g) and 4mm circular needles (80cm recommended). The shawl was knitted in Malabrigo Mechita in colours #005 Aniversario and #412 Teal Feather (one of each colour. Spin A Yarn stock Malabrigo and if you want to have these specific colours, contact them so they can reserve it for you. You can purchase the yarn on the day using your discount or bring an alternative yarn.
