Goonhilly - New Pattern

Progress on The Beads & Lace Collection is going really well right now. Another pattern is ready for publishing and this time it's 'Goonhilly'. For this shawl I wanted something that would work with a selfstriping yarn with long colour sequences.
I had a skein of Schoppel Lace Ball in my stash in gorgeous blue colours and thought it'd be perfect. This triangular shawl starts in one corner and works diagonally across to the beaded, picot cast off.
This shawl has two beaded edgings. One edging is knitted alongside the shawl and the second edging is the beaded, picot cast off which is fun and easy to knit. In the picture below the beaded, picot cast off is the edging shown at the top. I chose some colourful miracle/illusion beads to add a colourful touch.

You can pre-order The Beads & Lace Collection now for a discounted price which will increase once the complete collection is published. The patterns that have been published so far can be downloaded as single patterns and once all the patterns are ready I'll upload the e-book.

'Goonhilly' is also available as a single pattern. A big thank you to Leni aka The Fluffy Viking for the name suggestion.
