Having a wonderful time in Spain. I´d hoped to show you pics of lovely beaches but the internet cafe I´m using won´t let me download photos onto my memory stick. So photos when I get home. we are having a very relaxing time. The weather isn´t brilliant but good enough. Although we´ve had rain today which stopped us going to the beach. This afternoon when it stopped we went down to the pool but itrained after about 15 mins. So I went back to the apartment for some knitting time while Simon finished his swim. Then when it stopped we did some sunbathing on the roof terrace.
Last night we went to a lovely town inland called Murcia. Its our favorite place to visit here. Lovely old quarter with narrow street and great shop. There is one in particular which do fab hand bags and scarves adn I had some Euros for my birthday so bought a stunning hand bag. Could have bought several more in that shop.
Off in to Torrevieja (our nearest town) for a walk along the sea front and to have a look at the market there.
Been to several lovely beaches. It´s been a bit cloudy at times and a bit windy but warm enough.
Done lots of knitting. Finished my summer shrug and started Simon´s cardi and done a few repeats on my silver shawl and my secret scarf. Not done too much knitting on the beach yet which I need to rectify. Keep taking the 2nd Colosseum sock with me to the beach but between reading my book and sleepin I forget to get it out and knit.
