Busy, busy, busy

It's been another busy week. Not for the usual reasons but becasue of half term. The girls were off last week and hte weather was gorgeous. We had several days out. Yesterday we went up to Sibleyback Lake on Bodmin Moor, a reservoir near where we live. I had intended to take some photos but forgot. Met up with a couple of friend for a picnic and a walk around the lake. Gorgeous.

Been into mad sock knitting lately. Working on Sockamania March socks of course. And I'm knitting Emily 3 pairs of socks for her Isle of Wight trip next week. First pair is done. And the 2nd pair has two rounds of rib left and cast off. Working toe up.

Here's the first pair in Tofutsies. Don't like knitting with this yarn at all. Luckily I only have one more skein in my stash. Also doing one or two pairs for a friend's son who is also going. Got to find a boyish colour.

Got pics of some mor ehandspun and yark and camel fiber to show too. But my TV programme has just started so back with more tomorrow.

Doesn't Tofutsies suck eggs? I hate that yarn too, and I don't know anybody who likes it. It feels nasty and makes nasty socks. Yuck.
