I've had a few finishes in the last week. I finally finished my sparkly Opal socks. I've lost the label so no idea which colourway this is but I love the socks. I worked them toe up with an afterthought heel in a garter rib.
I also finished the Caldera shawl which I started on holiday. I'll write more about the inspiration behind this shawl when it's ready for publication. I'll be sending it to my tech editor tomorrow.
As I've finished a few things, I thought I'd cast on a new shawl. I saw this colourful skein of Botany Lace when I was teaching at Spin A Yarn last week and I'm designing an easy shawl. I'm about 2/3 through the shawl.
The Gondola KAL started this week. I cast on on Monday and worked through the first 20 rows of the pattern. The second part will be out tomorrow and next week, I'll be designing the third part live on Periscope. If you've missed the Gondola KAL, it's not too late. Download the info sheet and part one. I've also got my Snailyarn socks on the go. This project lives in my bag so I can work on it when I'm out and about. I've finished sock no 1 and cast on for number 2.
