The Touch Of Lace Collection - Cybil

Its time for the final design in the Touch Of Lace Collection Cybil.

Cybil is a fun, short-sleeved summer sweater. The lace yoke, which has lace patterning on both right and wrong side rows, is worked sideways from sleeve to sleeve. Stitches are picked up at the bottom for the front and back which are knitted downwards in stocking/stockinette stitch. This sweater has a boxy, oversized shape which is right on trend.

If you prefer a longer top, just make the stocking stitch section longer. By that point you can try the top on. You may need more yarn.

As the other designs in this collection, Cybil is knitted in Juniper Moon Farm Sabine which is a delicious cotton, merino and llama blend.

At the moment this pattern and the yarn is available from Juniper Moon Farm's US and Canadian stockists but the pattern will be available online in a month's time. You can see the whole collection here and scroll down through the last few blog entries to read about the other designs.
