Knit Simple

 I've been published in Knit Simple. Knit Simple is an American magazine published by the same publishers as Vogue Knitting and it's my first design for them.

Boxy shapes are a big look on the catwalk for this winter so I designed a boxy ribbed sweater using Lornas Laces Fisherman. It was my first time using Fisherman but it's a lovely pure wool worsted yarn.

The sweater is knitted in two pieces and seamed at the top of shoulders/sleeves and underarms/sideseams. it's easy for those tempted to try a sweater for the first time and a quick knit for experienced knitters. The shape is cropped but there is no shaping so if you want a longer sweater, just add more inches before adding the stitches for the sleeves.
