A Luxury Cashmere Yak Wrap

A few months ago, Ruth from the Little Knitting Company, sent me a ball of her luxurious Cashmere Yak blend. I love trying new yarns and this exotic, textured yarn immediately got my interest. I did some swatching and then started working on two designs for The Little Knitting Company. 

Here's the first design:

It's a sideways knitted shawl in garter stitch with a simple lace border.  With 5mm needles it's a quick knit. Increase until you've used up half the yarn then decrease till the shawl is finished. The pattern repeat for the border is quick to memorise and there's lots of squishy, lovely garter stitch.
