Introducing Mabel from Lace Wear Volume 1

The Lace Wear Volume 1 Collection is a collection of six patterns which will be published during spring and summer 2016. Mabel is the third pattern in the collection.

Each time I publish a new pattern, the price increases by £2. The price for the full Lace Wear Volume 1 Collection will be £15. If you've already purchased the collection you will have received an e-mail (sent to the e-mail you used to purchase the collection) with an update which will enable you to download Mabel.

Mabel is also available as an individual pattern and is 25% off until 17 April 2016. No coupon code needed.

Interesting shaping makes Mabel fun to knit and elegant to wear. Wear it over a summer dress or with jeans and a t-shirt.

Mabel is a poncho which is worked flat in one piece with just one seam. It has an asymmetrical shape alternating between an easy lace pattern and garter stitch. For the second half the colour for the lace pattern is reversed.

I used Oslo Micro Dyery Merino Light (the purple colour) and Skein Queen Tweedore (the natural colour) but any two skeins of sock yarn will work, just make sure you have approx 350m of each colour.
