I designed three new patterns for my Mastering Lace Knitting Retreat. The participants got to choose one of the three kits. I'll be releasing these three patterns over the next three weeks. First up is the easiest of the three patterns, Ibsen.
Ibsen is worked sideways and shaped into an asymmetrical triangle with a slight crescent shape. You start in the top right hand corner with just a few stitches and increase to create this fun shape.
I've used a simple lace patterns, lots of stocking stitch, beaded picots and a lacy edging to create a simple yet elegant shawl/scarf. It only takes one ball of Zauberball (or Zauberball 100) and a few size 6 seed beads. A quick and easy knit for experienced knitters and a perfect first lace shawl for new knitters.
Ibsen is 25% off until 31 October 2015. No coupon code needed. Your discount is deducted automatically.
