The February issue of Let's Knit arrived last week and I've got a design in this issue. My design is 'Anna' which is a elbow length sweater with some subtle cables on a stocking stitch background.
Most patterns which use cables tend to have cables on a reverse stocking stitch background to make the cables really pop but I really like to work cables on a stocking stitch back ground for a more subtle look and the slight fuzziness of the Bergere de France Norvege yarn adds to the subtleness.
The sweater is easy to knit and perfect worn on it's own as shown in the photo or layered over long sleeved t-shirts on a cold winter day or as an outer garment on a chilly spring weekend.
