Autumn Charm - Simply Knitting

Have you seen issue 100 of Simply Knitting? My design, Autumn Charm, was featured in this issue. I almost missed this issue coming out so I'm a bit late blogging about it.

Autumn Charm is shown as a scarf in the pattern photos but it's wide enough to be worn as a shawl too. It's a simple, rectangular lace shawl with a fairly simple stitch pattern which I love. The yarn is the utterly gorgeous Rooster Delightful Lace which is a really delightful blend of alpaca and silk. It's supersoft and silky. I'm knitting another shawl for another magazine in it right now and I love it. The best thing is you only need one skein.
Leni (aka The Fluffy Viking) knitted the sample for me and she did a fab job as always. Thank you, Leni x

I took some pics of Autumn Charm before sending it off. The pics are taken inside so they don't look that great but it'll give you an idea of what it looks like worn as a shawl and you can see the stitch pattern a bit better.
Autumn Charm is also available as a pdf pattern download from The Making Spot (Autumn Chart Making Spot link) for £1.99. My other Simply Knitting and The Knitter patterns are available from there too.
