Amore Shawlette - Pattern is ready

The Amore Shawlette is now finally ready for release. I've just listed the pattern in my  Ravelry pattern shop (you don't have to be a member to purchase the pattern) and it will go up on my website later today hopefully. I'm also listing it on Patternfish. Or you can purchase it here:

I know I've shown a lot of pics of this shawl recently but let's see them again.

The shawl takes one skein (400m) of sock yarn and 3.75mm/US5 needles. It measures147cm/58in wide and 54cm/21 in long (down the centre) after blocking. And the lace pattern is knitted from charts.

And guess who is ill now? yes, yesterday it was Simon's turn spending the day being sick. He's still in bed today. I'm finally starting to feel okay. I'm still not 100% but much better. I still felt quite rough yesterday and got very little done. Today I need to get some jobs done as my parents are coming on Friday and I'm off to London on Thursday and Friday (will be meeting my parents there) and I'm teaching a halfday Basic sock workshop at Spin A Yarn tomorrow. Let's hope it doesn't end like Friday's workshop (scroll down to previous post if you wonder what happened).

So I've got tons of housework to do, tons of knitting to do, I'm behind on a deadline due before I go to London, e-mails to deal with and a post office run to make. And I can't get enough water inside me. I've been drinking continously since saturday and I'm still always thirsty. It's horrible. Off to get another glass of water and do some more knitting (and ironing and .....)

I bought the pattern yesterday - thank you for publishing it even though you felt rotten! I have cast on and can say that it is very pretty and lovely to work. Sadly I didn't have any of your yarn in the right colour for this so had to use something else instead. Never the less it is a beautiful pattern and I have a feeling that I will be knitting more than one! Thank you Anni.
