Spinning action

I've found some time to do some spinning this weekend. This is the first skein of handspun I've produced since before Christmas. Not very impressive but I'm very pleased with myself. It's not finished yet so this pic is straight off the wheel. I'm not 100% happy with my plying. I'd hope to spin close to laceweight but I reckon it's got about 360m/100gr so that would make it more of a 4ply. Will check wpi tomorrow when it's dry.

I'm trying to do a shop update but I may not have time to do too many tonight so will carry on tomorrow. We've got the moody 'mystic' 'Bery Blush' to the pale 'lavender frost'. Did some gorgeous pastels last week in Supreme Lace which is back in stock.

got a new sock yarn too. Only dyed a couple of skeins so far. I can't remember the blend now but it's got merino/bamboo/silk/nylon and is gorgeous. I've done these two skeins and I'm thinking I may keep them and knit a shawl. Not done a shawl in sock yarn for a long, long time.
