My 11 year old daughter had only knitted a small square when she embarked on this scarf. She used 2 balls of Rowan chunky print and one ball of some other chunky wool I had in my stash. Had hoped to do the entire scarf in Chunky Print but it was only 35 m per ball so would have cost a fortune to buy enough balls to knit a long scarf so we improvised and she loves the effec. I'm very proud of her and think the scarf looks fab. Now all we need is some cold weather so that she can wear it.
