It's Shawl Season

Temperatures are starting to drop here in the UK and I'm sorting through my shawls so I have a selection to put on when I walk the dog or run errands. You may need a cozy shawl or a scarf to wear on your morning commute or while taking the kids to school.

Lido is one of my favourite warm shawls. Lido looks simple and elegant but has some fun little details. Big and cozy, Lido is big enough to wrap around your neck and shoulders for cozy warmth.

To help you get started with your shawl knitting, I'm offering you a discount on patterns.

Candy Cane flows from a point into wide lace border to form a gently peaked, asymmetrical crescent. This shawl alternates between garter stitch and lace with a scattering of beads for an elegant accessory.

The Murano shawl is inspired by the island of Murano, famous for glass, in the Venetian lagoon. Elegant lace, delicate colours and a few subtle beads makes this the perfect summer shawl. The colours remind me of the faded pastel colours on Murano and the glass beads represent Murano’s long history of glass production.
