Last weekend, while I was away in Newbury, I managed to finish the heel flap on Simon's second sock. I also knitted most of the leg. I've only got 20 rounds of rib to knit and my goal is to finish it this week. I'm using my Creme Caramel toe up sock pattern. My main knitting focus this week is a new design for a magazine. I can't show you full details but here's a little taster. I'm really enjoying this project and I'm especially enjoying knitting with Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend Fino which is such a luxurious yarn to knit with.
I've also been adding the odd row on my new shawl design. This is mainly garter stitch although there will be some lace coming up soon.
