A couple of days ago we drove down to the Oslo fjord near where my parents used to live in Son and went for a short walk. It was very very cold.
The water here frequently freezes during the winter. Simon and the kids have walked on it in the past but this year the ice was thinner so they only took a few steps on the ice.
It looked beautiful with the ice and the sun but it was so cold my face felt like it was starting to freeze so we walked back to the car.
