This is my favorite and I've left the shawlette on my dress form like this and it's so pretty.

Shawl pin is from Nicolas & Felice, take a look at their Etsy shop, its full of beautiful shawl pins and jewellery. So tempting!
This design will be part of the up-coming Easy Lace e-book.
I've just finished a shop update and you can see it all here. There will be a few skeins of Fairytale Sock and some stunning colourways of Merino Plus TWIST. I've tried to pick out my favorites but I love them all.
Before Christmas i had an accident in the dyeing room. My microwaves are on top of a chest of drawers where I was storing all my dyed stock. Some of the drawers don't close properly and I was worried about spilling dye stock when I was lifting bowls in and out of the microwave. And ofcourse it did happen! Some of the skeins that were damaged have now been overdyed and the result is some very interesting colourways.
This Fairytale skein started out orange and was overdyed with navy, purple and black and now has shades of brown with a bit of orange peeking through:
These two were pale pink and are now a deep, rich purple:
These two were a brighter pink and are now a blend of plums, dark purples and a little bit of black with pink showing through:
My favorite colour is this very dark plum/purple/black and i'm keeping this one for myself. Perhaps i'll make some handwarmers:
Another very dark purple/plum/black:
There are some brighter ones too:
Go and get your favorite. Next week will be lace week!
I've got another pretty, little lace 'Easy Lace E-book' shawlette blocking on the floor. This one is knitted in Supreme Socks and I'll share some photos next time. Another pattern for the e-book has gone to one of my knitters today. I'm trying to get ahead a bit before I start work on 4 designs for Artesano using Manos del Urugay Serena which is a new cotton/baby alpaca blend. I'm very excited about these designs. They'll be launched in March and will be perfect for summer knitting. I've also got 3 deadlines in February so it'll be a busy time ahead. Back to my knitting.
