Introducing Daniella

Have you seen Let's Knit yet? The issue due in the newsagents today has my first Lets Knit design in it. Daniella is worked in a pretty all over lace pattern. The yarn is Manos Silk Blend, my favorite commercial yarn. The pics I got of Daniella before I sent it off are not very good. Dressforms are fine for modelling shawls but not very good for sweaters. The pics in the mag are great though. Here's a close up shwing the neckline.

On the 'next issue preview' page there is a shawl designed by me which will be in the next issue. In fact I've got a series of designs coming up in Let's Knit. I'm so excited.

I was trying to blog every day this week but I missed yesterday. Yesterday was Liskeard Knitting Group day. We had a great turn out yesterday and we had great fun. Two new ladies and one lady who was new last week came. We're all different experience levels and knitting different stuff and we have a great laugh while we're doing it. and I actually got some knitting done among all the chatting.

When I got home I dyed hte first batch of hte lace club yarn. And today I finished up the lace club yarn and the sock club yarns. The sock club is a brand new base yarn and all I'll reveal is that it's got cashmere in it, it's not pure cashmere though. The lace yarn is new to the club too and hte pattern hasn't been used for the club before. There are still a couple of places availabe but be quick. Still some yarns left in the sale but they're moving fast. Been to the post office with another big bag of orders today. I'm finally managing to find some space for the new base yarn delivery that came last week. It's lived in the hall way till now as my room was too crowded.

I've been awake since 3am and I'm exhausted so I'm going ot go and relax and knit. I'm working on my next Let's Knit design which is a lovely relaxing knit.
