More Shawlette

The merino/tencel version of the shawlette is blocked and photographed. Just a tiny bit of pattern editing to do this afternoon then adding the name when the competition closes at 4pm and I can send the pattern off to MSF p/hop ready for Fibre Fest.
So here is the complete series of shawlettes. Version one in Angel Sock Yarn:
Version two in Organic Merino:and version 3 combines the two lace patterns and is knitted in Glorious Sock Yarn:And here are some more pics:
On the Fibre Fest preparation front, the yarns are drying nicely. It's dry and a little bit sunny occasionally today so quite a lot of it is hanging outside to dry. I've now got piles of yarn to label.

I've managed to clean Vanessa's bedroom ready for my parents to use on Thursday. All I need to do is go through her wardrobe so my parents can put some of their clothes in there.

And last night I finished the 'Fame' gloves. I've got a friend coming later so may try to persuade her to model them for me then I can get that pattern ready for Fibre Fest too.

In the dyeing madness this weekend I managed to dye up the September Sock Variety Club yarns too. I've dyed a few spares to take to Fibre Fest with me, so if you want to join you'd better sign up before Friday lunchtime. There may not be any spares left after Fibre Fest. The parcels will be posted on Monday or if you're going to Fibre Fest you can collect your parcel from me there. I love this month's yarn. It's a new base yarn which is gorgeous and it's a new pattern.
