Eye Candy

Some more beauties for you:

Duet sock yarn in Berries from the Yarn Grove. It's 125gr of the main yarn and 30gr solid. This is gorgeously soft and looks fantastic. Can't wait to knit with it.

And some Lornas Laces in Georgetown from the Yarn Grove too. Love this colour.

Been working on a new pair of fair isle socks today. But I'm not showing any pics as they're reserved for magazine submissions. No guarantee they'll be chosen but I'm going to give it a try anyway. This month both MagKnits and Knitty are on my hit list. So wish me good luck.

The fair isle pattern is driving me a bit mad actually. I've got a squint whihc gets worse when I'm tired and reading charts can be difficlt and today I have been struggling and getting muddled up afew times whihc has lead to a bit of unpicking at times. But only got a couple of rows to go of the fairl isle now. Will do that in a minute then go on to one of the shawls I'm working on for a bit of relaxing knitting.

Not had a very excited day. Went to weight watchers this morning followed by a blood test. Don't I know how to have fun eh?!

Then home for a bit of ironing before collecting Em from school. Only exciting bits have been working on the sock in between. Off for some more knitting now. Want ot get the fair isle section finished.

Until tomorrow enjoy drooling at the yarn and pop over to the Yarn Grove for a look. Jane and Debby are fantastic!
