Mini Tip Tutorial - Magic Loop

Using the magic loop technique is an easy way to knit small tubes like socks, sleeves, mittens and other small tubes in the round using a long circular needle. Some knitters find magic loop a bit tricky to start with but with practice you'll get the hang of it.

In this video I show you how to get started with magic loop. Use whichever cast on method you prefer or the cast on method recommended for your project.

You will need to use a longer circular needle. I usually use 80cm long circular needle for socks, mittens and sleeves.
