Hvitsten combines a crescent shape and stripes with an interesting stitch pattern plus short rows to create a modern, wearable accessory. Links to tutorials for adding beads, working short rowsand the crossed stitch pattern are included.
I decided to name this shawl after Hvitsten in Norway which is where I lived for a few years as a little girl. I've always been drawn to this place and we visit every time we go to Norway. Its also where we chose to get married in a small, wooden church.
I'm offering a few kits for pre-order. These kits will ship in early February so you will need to order by the end of January. Kits include yarn, beads and pattern download.
Above is the original colourway I used for the pattern.
Get 25% off the Hvitsten pattern until midnight UK on 31 January 2019.
I've been wearing Hvitsten a lot lately, especially since it goes perfectly with my Linnea hat.
