I'm pleased to share my shawl published in The Knitter issue 129.
The Corncockle shawl wraps around the shoulders beautifully. Its shape, which is based on traditional Faroese shawls, is formed from a central triangle, with triangular ‘wings’ on either side. I used an all-over lace pattern of large, intricate diamonds; the stitch pattern creates a scalloped lower edging.
I knitted this shawl in one 100g/800m skein of West Yorkshire Spinners Exquisite Lace.
