Monday Mini Tip Tutorial - Shortening A Sleeve

My friend once knit a cardigan. First she was unhappy with the floppy fronts and I cut off the excess fabric for her and knitted on button bands. You can see what I did here. That was in 2013. Four years later (she asked me to do this last year but it took me a while to get around to it) she decided the sleeves were too long and too baggy at the bottom so I agreed to shorten the sleeves for her.

 I get asked questions about how to do this fairly often so I recorded how I did it.

Here's the sleeve after I finished it. I wasn't able to get a modelled photo of my friend wearing it but she is happy with this cardigan now.
