All my self-published patterns.
I self-published 21 patterns in 2016 and my pattern sales were well up on 2015 nearly every month. My goal was to release a pattern every month and I actually failed to do that. I also saw a big difference in pattern sales during the months I didn't release a new pattern. All my patterns can be found in my Ravelry Pattern Shop.
Top row: Carlyon Bay and Las Ramblas.
Bottom row: Crescent Bay (only one not released in 2016) and Luca.

My four magazine covers last year.
One of my long term goals is to self-publish more patterns and rely less on designing patterns for magazines and yarn companies. I had 26 patterns in magazines and books in 2016.
I had nine patterns in Let's Knit.
The patterns published doesn't actually reflect 100% the work I did in 2016 as many of the patterns were worked on in 2015 and many of the patterns I've created in 2016 won't be published until this year or even next year. So although my published patterns totalled 47 last year, I actually created more patterns than that.
I had 11 patterns published in The Knitter (above and the two photos below).
I actually published fewer patterns in 2016 compared to the year before but this was caused by teaching a lot more workshops during autumn 2015 and the first half of this year and therefore having less time to design.
I also had patterns published in Vogue Knitting, the Noro Magazine, Noro Silk Garden 25 Years Anniversary book, The London Craft Guide, Simply Knitting and Knit Today (not pictured).
I couldn't have achieved anything close to that number of patterns without the help of my wonderful sample knitters who I'm so thankful to.
All 47 patterns.
I taught more workshops than ever before in 2016 - 41 workshops in total. At one point I was very over-booked with around 60 workshops booked. Artesano going out of business meant a lot of those classes were cancelled.
I've got my class schedule up to the end of April on the website now. See them here!
