Eliza
I don't know what January weather is like where you live but here in Cornwall we've had a lot of dull, stormy, wet weather lately so I thought a bit of summer sunshine would cheer us all up. Eliza was the August pattern for the Beads & Lace Club and it's such a sunny pattern. Looking at the photos of Emily modelling in summer sunshine cheers me up and makes me look forward to summer.
Eliza is quite a big shawl but knits up in only one ball of Lace Ball (or Lace Ball 100). It's worked sideways into an asymmetrical triangular crescent shape.
The fine lace pattern starts with a traditional Estonian stitch pattern and then transitions into a more open lace pattern with beads scattered throughout. This shawl is not just for summery days though, it's perfect to bundle up around your neck on chilly winter days too, when you need a reminder of summer and want a luxurious fabric wrapped around you.
Eliza is 25% off until 15 January 2016. No coupon code needed. The discount will be applied automatically.
