Making Me Happy!

This week I've done a fair bit of sewing. I made a new bag, and although its not perfect, I'm pretty happy with it. Its light, big enough for my essentials incl knitting but not so big that I put too much stuff in it.

All the quilt squares I've sewn together lately has improved my sewing considerably. My seam allowances and accurate seams are better but I still need to improve.

I started Vanessa's quilt this weekend. Vanessa is home this weekend so I double checked she liked the fabrics I chose. I'm using a mix of 5inch charm packs and fat quarters which I cut into 5 inch squares. My cutting is improving a lot too. I'm being more accurate.

A big yarn parcel made me very happy this week. Tibetan Cloud, Cashmere and Silky Cashmere is in the shop now.

I cast on for a new lace design using Tibetan Cloud and its luscious!

I'm leaving for Jersey soon. I'm teaching a lot but I also have some time off so I've been planning my knitting. That was all the excuse I needed to cast on for a new Zauberball Crazy sock. Its going to be my 'handbag' knitting on the Jersey trip. Just have to be careful I don't get carried away and finish it before I leave. There are still some spaces on some workshops so its not too late to book. I'm teaching lace, socks, cables, finishing and continental knitting.

Tomorrow, I'm opening up the next round of the Lace Lovers Club starting in May. If you join the club, that'll make me very happy!

What made you happy this week? Tell me in the comments!
