Easy Lace Sweater

The new issue of Lets Knit is in the shops and ofcourse i have a design in this issue. My design this month is the on trend 'Jenny' sweater. I reallise that oversized sweaters aren't everyon's taste but it was hot on the catwalks for this season.
This sweater is worked in two pieces from the bottom up with an incredibly simple lace pattern. The pattern repeat is only 4 rows and 6 stitches.  And two of those rows are purl rows. If you love this sweater but you don't like the oversized silhouette, just cast on fewer stitches. After the shoulder seams are done, you pick up around the armhole and knit a rib cuff.

For 'Jenny' I used Louisa Harding Grace which is a silk/wool blend and it's beautiful to knit with.

'Jenny' makes a perfect layering piece as we move in to spring! On the pattern page for 'Jenny' there's a preview of my design for next month.
