Starlight

I've got a new pattern for you but first some important news:

Let me introduce Starlight. I've been wearing these fingerless mittens for a few weeks now and I've had compliments everywhere I go. They don't only appeal to knitters, the lady in a local sandwich shop was desperate for a pair. And now you can knit your own.

Starlight was knitted in Malabrigo Sock, which is gorgeous, but you can use any sock yarn. The beads are added using the crochet hook method and are optional. They do add a touch of glamour though.

These mittens have lace on the back of the hand and 2x2 rib on the inside of the hand to add some stretch and a better fit. The afterthought thumbs are easy to work and provide a great fit.
