While I was in Spain, Let's Knit 58 was published. And ofcourse I had a design in this issue too. I love the waist coat on the cover, by the way. Isn't it cute?
Lila is knitted in Milla Mia Naturally Soft Merino. I've used Milla Mia before and their merino is gorgeous to knit with and so very, very soft. If you've been avoiding wool because it's itchy then you won't have to worry about this yarn. I love knitting with it. Milla Mia is run by Swedish sisters and specialise in childrens designs but it's perfect for adult designs too and it comes in a fabolous colour range.
Lila is a short sleeved top with a lacy rib stitch pattern which is very stretchy. Perfect to dress down with jeans or a denim skirt as seen in the photos or dress it up with a smart pair of trousers or a pretty skirt. Perfect for work and weekends. If you fancy knitting this top, you need to buy Let's Knit soon as the new issue is out in early September.
A big thank you to Leni, aka The Fluffy Viking, for knitting this sample for me. She did a great job as always.
When I came home I spotted a mention in Knitting magazine.
Below, my workshop at Wool & Willow, Oxfordshire, got a mention. Fancy learning to knit lace? Check out my Easy Lace & other workshops scheduled for this autumn.
