Hi readers, it's my birthday today. And I'm not going to tell you how old I am but it's somewhere between 30 and 40. I got some lovely presents. My girls bought me a pair of earrings each, and oldest daughter bought me a shell frame and decorated candle and youngest daughter made me a necklace and two picture frames. They bought the presents out of their own pocket money which was nice of them. From my husband I'm getting a yarn swift when I manage to find one. And he brought home some flowers yesterday. In addition I got money, jewellery and a gift card. Some of the money I've spent on 3 books, Vogue Knitting, Lavish Lace and Big Girls Knits (as seen in the photo). Still expecting one more present when my inlaws turn up in a few minutes.
Went to church this morning as this week is our church's annual Bible Week and then we went on to Looe (a local seaside town) for lunch in an Indian Restaurant. Had a lovely meal. I love Indian food. Very filling though. Wanted to go for a walk around Looe afterwards but after a few minutes it started raining. I managed to pop in to a lovely little shop called Ginger.They sell a lot of fair trade stuff and I bought a lovely little purple silk bag. Will get photo done tomorrow. Off to church again in a min for the last service of Bible Week.

Thank you Sylvia. Don't worry about the confusion. Two of my friends who asked me last weekend which day my birthday was on got it wrong too. Thank you for the nice comment about my blog. It took me a while to get going properly with it and get it like I wanted it but I'm getting there.
